Abstract art is a free expression of inner emotions that can be expressed on a canvas, using lines, shapes, colors and texture. Some abstract paintings depict objects that have been "captured" from the landscape, a city scene or seascape while other abstract paintings can be completely detached from any reference to our visual world. They are usually expressed through random splashes of paint, shapes and lines. On a large scale abstract paintings tend to have a bolder presence in the decor of interior spaces and ennoble the atmosphere and vibe of the place.
